I joined Travel Nation in 2017 after working for STA Travel and finishing my degree in Eco-tourism. I love to travel (obviously!) and I’m always looking for ways to reduce my impact on the world without sacrificing the things I love. I went for my first (and hopefully not my last) round the world trip when I was 18 and was convinced I could just travel for the rest of my life. Eventually, of course, I ran out of money and had to get a job. Studying tourism and working for Travel Nation means I can keep my dream alive: I get to spend my days talking about travel, planning trips and building my perfect holidays!

Responsive, dynamic and very reliable - Just what you need when travelling!
Lily, our travel consultant from Travel Nation was brilliant during the process of getting information, booking, following up and helping us throughout our one year long trip around the world. Would definitely recommend, many thanks!

Good efficient service
Good efficient service, thank you
Lily has visited:
Visiting family or knitting
A little community called Wilderland in Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand.
Portable charger, flip-flops, audiobooks, good headphones, notebook.
I live from my bag and turn the whole room into a ‘floordrobe’.
Beyond Europe, my first big trip was Thailand when I was 15, it was completely mind-blowing and I cannot wait to go back!
Melbourne, Australia; the French Alps; all of New Zealand
Although it’s not the biggest or best, Melbourne’s tiny beach in St Kilda is definitely the most memorable. St Kilda was the first place I really lived away from home, the people I met and (not to sound too cheesy) the memories we made on St Kilda beach will stay with me forever. Although the beach around Lake Mckenzie on Fraser Island is spectacular for all the classic reasons!
I would love to visit Costa Rica. It is famed for being the eco-tourism capital of the world, and they spend a higher percentage of their national budget on education than almost all other countries, which is fantastic.
I had a working holiday visa in Australia, although I probably didn’t work as much as I should have! It’s a great option for a longer trip in Oz.
Rustic toilets in Asia are always a fun reminder of how good I have it.
I’d love to see Rio.
My own bed!
