I joined Travel Nation in 2014 , however I have worked in travel for several years. I have just moved back to Brighton with my partner and our daughter.
I've always been a voracious reader and growing up reading tales of far flung places and exotic destinations, really left me no choice but to get out there and explore! I got the travelling bug early and after several months in South and Central America returned to the UK. I decided that working in the travel industry was a great way to continue my travels.
I love travelling and experiencing new cultures and new Ideas, to be able to help others do the same is a real privilege.
Distance learning with the Open University (English literature) so spent a good deal of time reading and writing on various South American beaches.
Up North (Leeds).
I have worked for STA Travel (3 years) and Hayes and Jarvis (4 Years) – so I have sold (and stayed in) anything from 9 bed dorm rooms (Brazil) to private pool villas (Maldives).

Really helpful and friendly service
Really helpful and friendly service. While booking my multi-stop flights there was a bit of back and forth to find the best dates etc but Aaron always got back to me quickly and was able to provide advice on the best approach to take.
Aaron has visited:
Spending time with my 9 month old daughter Ruby or reading. (sometimes both)
Oh wow. Here goes... The Smiths, The Beatles, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. No, can’t do it – too hard
In a jungle somewhere… or looking at the ruins of a once great civilisation
Belize totally blew me away – half Caribbean beaches, half Jungle – Mayan temples and rum punch !
Rucksack – definitely
Buenos Aires. It’s such a cool city and very European with a great Latin American flavour (plus the wine and steak obviously!)
Backpacking in Mexico – I started in Cancun and the shiny “Americanism” was such a contrast to the real Mexico.
Governors' Camp, Masai Mara
Caye Caulker – Belize. The diving (Hol Chan Marine Reserve ) is amazing in Belize plus you can get fresh lobster and mash potatoes with as much rum punch as you can drink for about £4.00
People who travel but still want the familiarity and comforts of home
The list is endless … I would love to do the Trans-Siberian Express (train from Moscow to Beijing via Mongolia)
Termites (taste like peanuts) - mmmm!
Carne Asado in Argentina was definitely up there with the best! (Open pit barbeque – usually including beef, pork, pork ribs, sweetbreads, blood sausage and chicken)
Lappa in Rio – Lappa is as suburb of Rio that is famous for its street parties
