Explore the seaside town of Sihanoukville, where white beaches and mangrove forest awaits. You’ll be transferred to the beach from Phnom Penh to enjoy a couple of days of snorkelling amongst colourful clouds of fish and relaxing on one of the many beaches along the shore. This mini Cambodia beach holiday is the perfect way to end a trip exploring this captivating country or as a beach stop during a larger adventure round South-east Asia.

Day 1: Arrive in Phnom Penh

On arrival, you will be met at the airport in Phnom Penh and driven to Sihanoukville, before taking the boat to Koh Rong (around a 3.5 hour drive). Here you will check into your hotel for 3 nights.

Days 2 & 3: Koh Rong

Your days here are at leisure to enjoy the long beaches and fresh seafood of Koh Rong. We’ve included a snorkelling trip on the coral reef – you’ll visit three different islands where you can snorkel, fish or just relax before having a seafood lunch and returning to Sihanoukville in the afternoon. If you want to explore further, you could also visit the nearby Ream National Park where monkeys, pangolins and birds live in the pristine jungle and mangrove forests. We can add a day tour to visit the jungle here – just ask!

Day 4: Depart Phnom Penh

Today is your final day at the beach, enjoy one last walk along the sand – you’ll soon take the boat back to the mainland and transferred back to Phnom Penh Airport for your onwards flight.

 

The hot and wet monsoon season takes over Cambodia from May to September but the rest of the year is generally dry and warm in the winter months.
