Itinerary in brief:
- 1 night Ayers Rock
- 1 night Kings Creek Station
- 1 night Alice Springs
Day 1: Arrive Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Arrive in Uluru (Ayers Rock) at lunchtime today where you will be collected by the tour bus to embark on your Red Centre Safari. This afternoon you will get to visit the cultural centre and explore the base of Uluru on a guided interpretative walk. After watching the sunset over Uluru you will get to relax by the fire at the private campsite listening to stories under the stars.
You will be given the opportunity tonight to sleep in a ‘swag’; a portable sleeping unit often used by bushman and a real way to connect with the outdoors!
Day 2: Uluru & Kata Tjuta to Kings Canyon
It’s an early start this morning watching the sunrise over Uluru and after breakfast it’s time to take a walk through the ‘Valley of the Winds’. After lunch you will drive to another private campsite on Kings Creek Station; a working camel/cattle station - be sure to try the famous Kings Creek camel burgers!
Day 3: Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
This morning, take a guided walk around the rim of Kings Canyon. This ancient formation of tall red rock faces is home to over 600 species of native plants and animals. You will get to visit the Lost City and Garden of Eden before heading back to Alice Springs for your final evening.
Day 4: Depart Alice Springs
Depart at any time today – we’ve included a transfer to take you from your hotel to the airport to connect with your onward flight.
