Itinerary in brief:
- 3 nights in Buenos Aires
- 2 nights in Puerto Iguazu
- 3 nights in Rio de Janeiro
Day 1: Arrive in Buenos Aires
On arrival at Buenos Aires airport, you will be met and taken to your hotel by private transfer, where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
Day 2: Half-day city tour
After breakfast, we’ve included a city tour that will introduce you to the some of the highlights of Buenos Aires including the charming La Boca district with its colourful houses and traditional cafés. This afternoon will be free for you to spend as you wish.
Day 3: Tango show with dinner
You have a full day to explore the city again today. This evening you will be picked up and taken to Esquina Carlos Gardel for dinner and to enjoy the drama and passion of a live tango show. After the show, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.
Day 4: Fly to Iguazu
You’ll be collected from your hotel after breakfast and taken by private transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazu. Here, you will be met and driven by private car to your hotel where you will check in for a 2-night stay.
Day 5: Full day at the falls
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel today, followed by a full day exploring the majestic Iguazu Falls. We’ve included a tour that visits both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the national park so you can appreciate the falls from different perspectives. The Brazilian side offers panoramic views at a distance, while the Argentinian side involves a longer walk beside the falls and the chance to admire the powerful Garganta del Diablo (the Devil’s Throat). At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
Day 6: Fly to Rio de Janeiro
This morning after breakfast you will be met at your hotel by a private car and taken to the airport to catch a flight to Rio de Janeiro. Once you land, you will be met and driven by private transfer to your hotel where you will check in for a 2-night stay.
Day 7: Half-day jeep tour to Sugarloaf and Corcovado
A fun day awaits today as we’ve included guided open-top-jeep tour to two of Rio’s most iconic sites. You will be picked up after breakfast and taken to visit the statue of Christ the Redeemer that sites on top of the Corcovado. Afterwards, you’ll be taken to Sugar Loaf Mountain and take a scenic cable car ride to the top, for panoramic views over the mountains, bays and houses of Rio. You will be taken back to your hotel around noon to enjoy your free afternoon.
Day 8: Half-day tour to old Rio and Santa Teresa
This morning you’ll get a glimpse into the Rio of old with this tour to the historical centre and neighbourhood of Santa Teresa and its stately mansions that date from the early 1900s. After the tour you have a free afternoon, so why not head to the Copacabana or Ipanema beach and enjoy a Caipirinha while watching the world go by?
Day 9: Depart Rio de Janeiro
You’ll be collected from your hotel today and be taken to the airport by private transfer to connect with your onward travel plans.
