Day 1: Arrive Temuco 

On arrival at Temuco airport, the staff from Vira Vira will greet you and take you to the hotel. The transfer takes around 90 minutes and the scenery is breath-taking from beginning to end. When you arrive, you will check into your accommodation and, depending on the time of day, you can take part in one of the activities offered by the hacienda.               

Days 2 & 3: Vira Vira Lodge

Now, you have two full days to experience life at Vira Vira! You can choose to relax or be as active as you wish. The hotel offers half and full day excursions designed to immerse you in the peaceful surroundings and leave everyday life behind. Try yoga, hiking, cycling, fishing and rafting, or simply relax in the hot tub with a glass of Chilean wine, gazing up at the Villarica volcano.

The owners of Vira Vira are welcoming hosts, so you will often find them present in the hotel grounds. You can even sign up for an early morning yoga session with Claudia, which is sure to kick-start your day. All meals are cooked by the French-trained executive chef and his top-notch team, using produce grown in the hotel’s grounds wherever possible. Whatever you choose to do, the staff will make you feel truly at home.

Day 4: Depart Vira Vira 

Today, you will be taken to Temuco airport by shared transfer in time to catch your onward flight.          

 

Vira Vira Hacienda Hotel is located in Northern Patagonia and the best season to visit is from September to April. This avoids the winter months between May and August when temperatures can drop below freezing at night.
