Depart the UK from your chosen airport. On arrival in Barbados, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, where you will check in for five nights.
During your time in Barbados, we’ve split your time between the east and west coasts. You’ll start on the east, where the wild waves of the open ocean have formed rugged coves, spectacular cliffs and large sea swell perfect for water sports. Try sailing or windsurfing, take a long hike along the lush headlands, and watch the sunrise up from the Atlantic.
During your time here, we’ve included a 4x4 jeep safari across the island. This popular tour will take you across the north and eastern parts of Barbados, exploring different terrains both on and off-road. Your guide will keep you entertained with interesting folklore and history about the island as you explore the highlights of this area including the Bathsheba Pools, Joe’s River Forest and Edge Cliff. Enjoy a delicious Bajan buffet lunch at the end of your trip and enjoy lasting memories of this wild and beautiful part of Barbados.
Now, you’ll head to the west coast, spending five nights in a lovely hotel right on the beach. This peaceful coast is full of white sands, luxurious hotels and peaceful bays, with fantastic snorkelling and plenty of restaurants to choose from.
During your time on the west coast of Barbados, we’ve included a catamaran cruise in Carlisle Bay, one of the most beautiful on the island. Kick off your shoes and take to the waters, hopping on board a luxury catamaran and exploring the quiet part of the bay. Jumping in with your mask and flippers, you’ll swim with schools of tropical fish, green turtles and even see a shallow shipwreck. After your underwater adventure, you’ll head to a secluded part of the beach for some sunbathing and a delicious lunch.
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up and driven back to the airport in time for your flight home.
Barbados is a good destination for year-round sunshine, with the driest part of the year falling between December and April. Wet season arrives between June and November, with sporadic rainfall and bright but rarer sunshine. This time is very humid and although Barbados’ position as one of the easternmost Caribbean islands means it doesn’t often experience hurricanes, it is still a possibility.
