Days 2 to 5: Hong Kong

Days 6 to 12: Sydney & Surrounds
In Australia, we've included our 7 day Sydney, Blue Mountains & Hunter Valley self-drive. You'll have 4 days to explore Sydney, from the harbour to the opera house to the beaches before your mini self-drive adventure. Visit the hazy Blue Mountains, then head to the Hunter Valley to discover the wineries. With the freedom to explore at your own pace, you’ll cover 3 of the main highlights in this region.
We’ve included 3 nights in Sydney to give you time to explore this vibrant city and see Darling Harbour, Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach. After a few days, pick up your hire car and head into the Blue Mountains, named for the bluish haze that blankets the hills from the many eucalyptus trees. From here, visit the wineries of the Hunter Valley for a day’s wine tasting in this well-known wine region.

Days 13 to 19: New Zealand
Welcome to New Zealand, a classic self-drive destination. To get you started, we've included a 7 day flexi motel pass. If you're looking for ultimate in flexibility with the comfort of knowing your accommodation costs are covered upfront - this pass is great. This 7 night trip includes car hire and a weeks’ worth of flexible motel vouchers so you can choose where to stay as you go. Vouchers can be used at B&B accommodation all over the North Island and South Island.
During peak season (December-February), availability is limited, so we would put together a tailor-made package for you instead. Also, this pass is based on motel standard accommodation so if you'd prefer upgraded hotels, B&B or lodges please speak to your consultant who will be happy to put this together for you.

Days 19 to 26: Cook Islands
Flying from New Zealand to the Cook Islands you actually gain a day for yourself as you cross over the International Dateline on your way to the Pacific destination of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.
Touchdown in the Cook Islands to begin our Rarotonga & Aitutaki Escape. Spend a few days winding down and experiencing daily life on Rarotonga with its beautiful beaches and volcanic interior. You'll encounter a real sense of authenticity here as all hotels are locally owned and run, plus there's also a strong cultural influence. 'Island nights' are a regular occurrence here, offering you an opportunity to get a feel for Polynesian culture through the sharing of food, dance and music.
After a few days, you'll take a 45 minute scenic flight over to the island of Aitutaki, where the spectacular Aitutaki Lagoon awaits. No trip is complete without a boat ride on the lagoon and it's even possible to get married on a little island in the centre!
Day 27 to 30: Los Angeles
To round off your round the world package, enjoy a quick city break in Los Angeles. Quirky beaches and star-lined sidewalks of Hollywood are waiting for you on our 4 day, 3 nights Los Angeles stopover package designed to introduce you to LA. Check out the famous handprints dotted along the street near Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and spot your favourite stars on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Take in the historic side of Los Angeles from the Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Cathedral of our Lady and grab a dim sum lunch under the lanterns of Chinatown.
