    Tour the world on this trip of a lifetime! This fully-inclusive, month-long round the world package visits 3 continents and 5 countries. See the laser light show over Hong Kong’s skyscrapers before heading to Australia to discover Sydney and surrounds on a self-drive. Sip fine wines in the Hunter Valley and road trip through the Blue Mountains, so-named for the blue haze that comes from the density of eucalyptus trees.

    Next, you’ll head to the untouched paradise of the Cook Islands, where white sands, shimmering lagoons and turquoise seas await. From here, you’ll continue on to New Zealand exploring both islands. Look out for iconic vistas you might recognise from the Lord of the Rings as you explore South Island, New Zealand.

    Round off your trip with a city break in Los Angeles on the way home, to complete this truly round the world holiday.

    Day 1: Depart UK

    Days 2 to 5: Hong Kong

    Explore the diverse city of Hong Kong with our 4 day stopover package. To make things easy, we've included 3 nights’ accommodation, return airport transfers and the iconic 'Symphony of Lights' cruise. So whether you plan to shop in the malls or markets, stroll through the streets that are brightly lit by neon signs, or take the Peak Tram up to Mt Victoria for panoramic views over the city's tallest towers - you'll find this tour offers everything you need to enjoy this Asian city.

    Days 6 to 13: Sydney & Surrounds

    In Australia, we've included our 8 day Sydney, Blue Mountains & Hunter Valley self-drive. You'll have 4 days to explore Sydney, from the harbour to the opera house to the beaches before your mini self-drive adventure. Visit the hazy Blue Mountains, then head to the Hunter Valley to discover the wineries. With the freedom to explore at your own pace, you’ll cover 3 of the main highlights in this region. 

    We’ve included 3 nights in Sydney to give you time to explore this vibrant city and see Darling Harbour, Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach. After a few days, pick up your hire car and head into the Blue Mountains, named for the bluish haze that blankets the hills from the many eucalyptus trees. From here, visit the wineries of the Hunter Valley for a day’s wine tasting in this well-known wine region.

    Days 13 to 19: Cook Islands

    Flying from New Zealand to the Cook Islands you actually gain a day for yourself as you cross over the International Dateline on your way to the Pacific destination of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.

    Touchdown in the Cook Islands to begin our Rarotonga & Aitutaki Escape. Spend a few days winding down and experiencing daily life on Rarotonga with its beautiful beaches and volcanic interior. You'll encounter a real sense of authenticity here as all hotels are locally owned and run, plus there's also a strong cultural influence. 'Island nights' are a regular occurrence here, offering you an opportunity to get a feel for Polynesian culture through the sharing of food, dance and music.

    After a few days, you'll take a 45 minute scenic flight over to the island of Aitutaki, where the spectacular Aitutaki Lagoon awaits. No trip is complete without a boat ride on the lagoon and it's even possible to get married on a little island in the centre!

    Days 20 to 35: New Zealand

    Welcome to New Zealand, a classic self-drive destination. Explore the stunning North Island with our 9-day New Zealand: North Island B&B road trip itinerary. Stay in locally run boutique style B&Bs and experience the iconic Kiwi hospitality as you travel! Taking in the key highlights of this island you will get to hit the open road in your own vehicle, at your own pace. After dropping off your vehicle in Wellington, you will take one of the most picturesque journeys in New Zealand by Ferry & Train. Throughout this scenic experience, you will meander along the Pacific coast between Wellington and Christchurch. 

    Next up, we have included our 8-day South Island road trip with glaciers. Follow the shores of Lake Tekapo and drive past Mount Cook on the road to Queenstown. Get your adrenaline thrills with a jet boat ride and a nature cruise through the tranquil Milford Sounds. Join a tour along the face of the Franz Josef glacier before driving up the west coast to take the iconic TranzAlpine train through spectacular alpine scenery and back to Christchurch.

    Day 25 to 28: Los Angeles

    To round off your round the world package, enjoy a quick city break in Los Angeles. Quirky beaches and star-lined sidewalks of Hollywood are waiting for you on our 4 day, 3 nights Los Angeles stopover package designed to introduce you to LA. Check out the famous handprints dotted along the street near Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and spot your favourite stars on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. Take in the historic side of Los Angeles from the Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Cathedral of our Lady and grab a dim sum lunch under the lanterns of Chinatown.
