Day 1: Depart UK

Check-in for your overnight flight to Tokyo.

Day 2: Arrive in Tokyo

Transfer to your hotel. Check in for your 3 night stay at the Hotel Niwa, Tokyo.

Day 3: Half day private Tokyo city tour

Your stopover package includes the services of a local guide for 4 hours. Your guide will meet you at your hotel at a chosen time to discuss what you'd like to see and do. The itinerary is totally flexible and you'll be using public transport throughout.

Day 4: Tokyo

Today is a free day to explore the city, visit maid cafes in the electronics district, discover Tokyo's world-class museums and art galleries or head out of the city to Nikko, a mountainous area of Tochigi Prefecture known for its national park.

Day 5: Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur

Check out and take a shuttle bus transfer back to the airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur.

Transfer to your Kuala Lumpur accommodation. Check in for a 2 night stay at The Dorsett Regency.

Day 6: Kuala Lumpur

Spend the day discovering this compact capital city on foot. Get a bird's eye view from the Petronas Twin Towers 86th floor observation deck (ask us to book tickets for you); immerse yourself in Little India or hunt for bargains and tasty streetfood in Chinatown.

Day 7: Kuala Lumpur to Bali

Today you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Bali.

On arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Ubud for a 3 night stay.

Days 8 & 9: Ubud

Centrally located in Bali, Ubud is the cultural hub of the island. It is home to fine arts, dance and music with a bohemian vibe and is surrounded by scenic rice fields, small villages and ancient temples. Ubud is a fantastic base from which to explore the island - from the mountains to the beaches.

Why not ask us about adding a ‘Balinese Daily Life’ programme into your trip? You could visit a Balinese village where you will learn from the locals how to plough with cows, plant rice and cook local cuisine – an authentic insight into daily life here in Bali and an experience to treasure.

Day 10: Ubud to Sanur

After breakfast, you will be collected by your private driver/guide for a full day’s touring around Ubud, visiting museums, palaces and local markets.

Enjoy lunch perched on a ridge above the Sungai Cerik Valley overlooking breath-taking views of hills, rivers and rice terraces. Your day will end at the local market where you can watch locals buying and selling food as well as handicrafts and textiles.

You will be dropped off at your hotel in Sanur, the evening is as leisure.

Days 11-13: Sanur

To the easterly coast of Bali, Sanur is situated on a sandy stretch of beach. It offers a blend of quiet relaxation and buzzing nightlife with plenty of locally owned bars and restaurants. You’ll encounter a more chilled out vibe that can be difficult to find in Bali’s western coast resorts.

You could choose to relax here, or take a day trip to visit Bali’s lakes and hills, explore traditional local markets and visit Ulun Danu temple, one of Bali’s most iconic and photogenic sites.

Day 14: Bali to Hong Kong

You will be collected after breakfast and taken to the airport by private car to connect with your international flight to the Asian hub of Hong Kong. On arrival, you will be greeted with a private transfer to your Hong Kong hotel.

Days 15 & 16: Hong Kong

Discover the very best of this classic 'East meets West' city. Japan - Prices will be high and availability limited around Golden Week (early May) O-Bon (mid-August) and New Year. Autumn foliage (November) is also a very busy time. June and July is rainy season for most of Japan and can be very humid whereas autumn (September to mid-December) is normally cool and clear.

Kuala Lumpur only has 2 season, wet & dry. The wet season runs from November to March, with November being the wettest. If you visit in November, you can expect it to rain on up to 20 days of the month, with a total rainfall of around 12 inches.

Dry season in Bali runs from April – September, although occasional rainfall can still be expected, and the resorts are busiest during this time.  During rainy season Bali becomes quieter although the sun still shines and temperatures remain relatively stable year round meaning Bali can be a great destination at any time of year.

Subtropical Hong Kong has four seasons; warm and humid spring (March to mid may), hot and rainy summer (late May to mid September), pleasant and sunny autumn (Late September to late November, cool and dry winter (December to February).
