    Itinerary in brief:

    Days 1 & 2: Depart UK

    Depart the UK from your chosen airport.

    Day 3: Arrive Fiji

    On arrival into Nadi airport you'll be greeted with a traditional Fijian ‘lei’ and taken by shared transfer to Denerau Harbour to connect with the boat out to the Yasawa Islands.

    Spend 3 nights at Barefoot Kuata, an eco-resort designed to take you back to nature, with some creature comforts thrown in!

    Days 4 & 5: Barefoot Kuata

    You have two full days here to take advantage of the wide range of activities on offer. Explore the beautiful coral reef by snorkel or by kayak, spot the famous Phantom Rock Caves on a stand-up paddle board or head out on a sunset cruise past the cliffs where the Ton Hanks film 'Castaway' was filmed. If you prefer to stay on dry land then take part in a visit to a local village or explore the island by foot, discovering caves, jungles and secret beaches. A walk with a member of staff from the property will provide you with in depth knowledge of the history of the island as well as a chance to learn about the many medicinal plants growing in the region.

    Day 6: Barefoot Kuata to Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

    You'll be collected from your hotel early this morning and taken by shared boat to Blue Lagoon Resort, located on Nacula Island.

     

    You will spend 3 nights located on picturesque Nacula Island in the tranquil lagoon of Nacula Bay. Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is home to stunning white beaches and crystal blue waters, a true paradise.

    Days 7 & 8: Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

    During your time on the island why not go out line-fishing, try your hand at paddle boarding or head out onto the coral with your snorkel and check out the marine life.

    There are regular excursions you can enjoy if you wish; visiting the local village, taking a guided tour of the coconut plantation or a visit to the limestone caves at Sawa-I Lau. Blue Lagoon is a sociable and fun resort attracting a variety of people from families, to backpackers, to honeymooners which creates a friendly atmosphere and a relaxed vibe, this is an ideal spot to have some fun and enjoy the activities.

    Day 9: Blue Lagoon to Octopus Resort

    You will be collected from Blue Lagoon and taken by boat transfer to your next destination, Octopus Resort for 3 nights.

    Waya Island, where Octopus is located is situated within a self-protected marine reserve with a beautiful reef only metres from the shore. It's an ideal location for snorkelling and diving during your stay.

    Days 10 & 11: Octopus Resort

    Octopus Resort has an on-going focus on Fijian culture and cultivates a strong relationship with the local village so there is a good choice of authentic Fijian activities to choose from including craft market visits, coconut tree climbing and basket weaving.

    As this is the final stop on your trip, kick back and relax. Octopus is a popular resort for honeymooners and its not hard to see why stunning beaches and a laidback feel. You can even island-hop to the more remote islands or head for Likuliku bay to swim in the warm waters beside a kilometre of idyllic beach. Absolute paradise.

    Day 12: Depart Fiji

    You'll be collected from your hotel this morning and taken by boat transfer to Denerau Marina, where you'll be met and taken to the airport for your international flight.

    Day 13: Arrive UK

    Fiji’s wet season is from November to April with the heaviest rains and highest humidity from December to mid-April. The Dry season goes from May to October with low rainfall, low humidity, milder temperatures and less extreme weather. Peak season in Fiji includes December, January and June, July coinciding with Australian and New Zealand school holidays – prices will peak during these times.
