We recommend that you visit during May-September when roads are open and the sun is shining in Kakadu and Darwin, the town is buzzing with visitors during these months, so booking ahead is worthwhile. October to April brings the ‘wet season’ in the Top End so Darwin and Kakadu will experience heavy rains, flash flooding, and many roads will close at some point. The included tour may operate a different programme at this time depending on the roads in the national parks.

Dry season in Bali runs from April – September, although occasional rainfall can still be expected and the resorts are busiest during this time. During the rainy season, Bali becomes quieter although the sun still shines and temperatures remain relatively stable year-round meaning Bali can be a great destination at any time of year.
