Day 1: Depart UK

Depart the UK from your chosen airport.

Day 2: Arrive Rarotonga

On arrival into Rarotonga Airport you will be greeted by a local representative with a tropical 'ei' and taken to your hotel by shread transfer to check in.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

Included: Meet & Greet, arrival transfer & hotel

Day 3: Rarotonga

Join your buggy tour and explore the roads less travelled as you drive with an experienced local guide through the islands natural rugged beauty through hills and plantations. Drive your own buggy in convoy with the group and see the island from a different perspective, off-road tours are also available for those looking for more adventure!

The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4: Rarotonga

You have a free day now to enjoy the island, why not rent bikes and go on an adventure around the island, with only one route round and a flat terrain this is a great way to explore. Alternatively head to the beach for some snorkelling or water activities off the coast, there’s plenty to keep the kids amused as you relax and enjoy the view!

Day 5: Fly to Aitutaki

You will be collected from your hotel this morning and taken by shared transfer back to the airport to connect with your domestic flight to Aitutaki. Only a short 45 minute journey later you will arrive on this picturesque island where you will be greeted and taken to your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 6: Snorkelling Lagoon Cruise

You will be collected from your hotel this morning and taken to the start point of your lagoon cruise. Once out on the beautiful Aitutaki Lagoon you will visit 4 motus, discovering uninhabited islands and snorkelling in the clear waters. Spot tropical fish, giant clams and brightly coloured corals before heading ashore for a delicious BBQ lunch served on the white sands. Get your passport stamped at uninhabited One Foot Island before heading back to the mainland late afternoon.

Day 7: Aitutaki 

You have a day at leisure today on the island of Aitutaki, head back out onto the lagoon and enjoy some watersports such as stand-up paddle boarding or snorkelling. Relax on the beach or treat yourself to a Polynesian massage, this time is for resting and recharging your batteries.

Day 8: Fly to Atiu

You will be collected from your hotel this morning and taken to the airport to connect with your flight to Atiu only a short 40 minute flight away. With a population of under 500 people Atiu is a remote and undiscovered paradise, experience local life as you stay on one of the only hotels on the island.

We have included a tour to the Anatakitaki Cave, this coral limestone cave are carved out of the fresh water and home to the kopeka, a bird unique only to the island of Atiu, explore this stunning natural formation before heading back to your hotel for a one night stay.

Day 9: Depart Rarotonga

You will be collected from your accommodation today and taken to the airport by shared transfer to connect with your flight back to Rarotonga and onwards.

Days 10-12: Los Angeles

On arrival into Los Angeles make your own way to your hotel wjhere you will check in for a 3 ngiht stay.

You have 3 nights to explore this Californian city, head to Hollywood and spot your favourite ‘star’, take some pictures with the famous Hollywood sign, jump in a taxi to Santa Monica and relax on the beach or hit the slots on Santa Monica pie

Day 13: Depart Los Angeles

Make your own way to the international airport at anytime today to connect with your flight back to the UK.

The temperatures in the Cook Islands are generally always high, rainfall is common throughout the whole year with July being the driest month overall, on average January is the wettest month. The Cook Islands climate is tropical meaning rainfall is generally heavy but short-lived and most days will enjoy sunshine at some point.

*Note; the order of this itinerary may need to be adjusted depending on the day you arrive. Flights to Atiu are not daily so we will help you to plan the best route depending on your international flights.
