From here, you’ll fly to the remote and windswept Easter Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for another luxury stay. The tours included with your stay at the Explore Rapa Nui will take you to see the Moai statues and demystify the origin of the mysteriously carved stone heads scattered across this isle.

Explora Patagonia aims to offer journeys in remote areas of South America that provide up-close interaction with nature and local culture. Explora Patagonia was the very first hotel in Torres del Paine and helped to put this National Park on the international tourist map. To this day, Explora Patagonia is the leading property in the heart of the park and enjoys the most beautiful position, anchored like a ship by Lake Pehoé with unparalleled views.
As with your lodge in the Atacama, here you can choose from over 40 trips including hiking and horseback riding, the renowned W trek and other less-explored routes.
Your stay at Explora Patagonia is on a full board basis, and you can expect meals accompanied by superb Chilean wines, a spa, a heated pool and four open-air Jacuzzis with outstanding views of the Paine River. The 49 rooms each offer privacy and peace and offer a cosy welcome at the end of an active day.

Why not add in a stopover?
You can travel to Chile all year round, however, between mid-December and the beginning of March is the Altiplano Winter in the Atacama, and the weather can be more unstable. In Patagonia, the weather is changeable all year round, and you can experience the four seasons in one day. For the chance of longer daylight and higher temperatures, avoid the winter between late May and late August.
