Depart the UK from your chosen airport today and arrive in Los Angeles on the same day.
We’ve included a night in a hotel close to the airport so the whole family can quickly settle in and get some sleep after the flight and before the excitement of your campervan adventure begins!
After collecting your vehicle from the depot near the airport, you now have 10 days of freedom to explore California and beyond! Keeping it local, you could head down to the coast at Santa Monica to splash in the waves, take a stroll down the pier or ride the Ferris wheel. If your sights are set further afield – why not head inland towards the national parks? Here are some ideas – you’ll be spoiled for choice!
Why not start in Sequoia National Park, aptly named for its huge sequoia trees, it is also home to the underground Crystal Cave featuring streams and striking rock formations.
Death Valley National Park straddles eastern California and the state of Nevada and provides a completely different landscape with a desert landscape, sand dunes, valleys, canyons and mountains. Death Valley is the hottest and driest national park in the USA, and home to many plants and animal species that have adapted to this harsh environment.
Lastly and arguably the most spectacular of all is Yosemite National Park, with cascading waterfalls, clear streams and towering trees this park is guaranteed to be the highlight of your trip.
At the end of your road trip, make your way to San Francisco to drop off your vehicle.
Return your vehicle at the depot in San Francisco and make your way to the airport to connect with your flight back to the UK.

This trip is based on Easter holidays pricing but can be done at any time of year, pricing will be significantly cheaper outside of UK school holidays.

High season in California is from June to August when hotels will book up far in advance and prices will peak. April - May and September - October can be a great time to travel when crowds and prices are lower and temperature is mild. Winter (November - March) brings colder temperatures and rainstorms.
