Singapore is melting pot of culture and the best place to experience this is in its food – try dumplings from the hawker stalls of Chinatown, spicy curries in Little India or nutty satay in the Malay District. But make sure you’ve reached the village of Petulu by dusk so you can witness the white herons descending on the trees to roost through the night. Ubud is also a great place to try a cooking class – learning to whip up a bowl of traditional Indonesia nasi goreng will be a good idea once you’re home and missing all the tasty Indonesian food - so if you’d like us to book one for you, just ask!

Singapore has a tropical and humid climate all year round, the busiest (and hottest) time to visit is in the school holidays which fall in June and July so it is best to avoid visiting during this period if possible. Dry season in Bali runs from April – September, although occasional rainfall can still be expected, and the resorts are busiest during this time.  During rainy season Bali becomes quieter although the sun still shines and temperatures remain relatively stable year-round meaning Bali can be a great destination at any time of year.
