Today we've included the 'Koalas and kangaroos in the wild tour' - a unique experience the kids will love. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel.
First, you'll take a walk through natural bushland to meet wild koalas; then you'll learn a little about each one's history and social life from your Wildlife Guide and koala researcher. You can get involved in helping to remove Boneseed (a weed) and improving the koalas' habitat.
Look out for mobs of wild kangaroos on the plains and in open forests - if you're fortunate you may get close enough to take photographs and observe their social life. While you walk, you can help your guide to record sightings of all native wildlife.
You may also spot some other native wildlife, including parrots, fairy-wrens, emus, honeyeaters, possums, wallabies and lizards. Your Wildlife Guide will be able to tell you about each creature and help you understand them a little more.
At the end of the tour, all participants will receive a certificate of thanks for helping the wildlife, and an opportunity to stay in touch with each of the koalas seen on the day.
