Day 1: Depart UK

Day 2: Arrive in Buenos Aires

On arrival at Buenos Aires airport, you will be met and taken by private transfer to Alvear Palace Hotel in Recoleta, where you will check in for a 3-night stay.

Day 3: Recoleta walking tour and tango show

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you for a walking tour of Recoleta, the most elegant and sophisticated neighbourhood of the city. Here you’ll be able to appreciate the city’s historical and architectural heritage, its Beaux-Arts architecture and the famous Recoleta Cemetery, the resting place of Eva Peron. You’ll also find some of Buenos Aires’s most prestigious museums and cultural centres here.

In the evening, you will be picked up at your hotel and driven by private transfer to the luxurious Faena hotel in Puerto Madero. Here you will be treated to a traditional Argentinian 3-course meal accompanied by a selection of fine local wines. During dinner, some of the country’s best tango dancers and musicians will dazzle and entertain the audience with a live tango production so you can enjoy seeing this dance in the city that made it so famous! After the show, you’ll be driven by private transfer to your hotel.

Day 4: Free Day

You have today to explore Buenos Aires independently. Why not visit the colourful La Boca neighbourhood or head over to San Telmo, the oldest barrio in the city, famous for its antique shops. Day 5: Buenos Aires to Cordoba

Today, you’ll be collected from your hotel in the morning and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to Cordoba. Once you land, you will be met and driven to Estancia El Colibri, where you will check in for a 3-night stay.

Days 6 & 7: Estancia El Colibri

With the Sierras of Cordoba in the background, Estancia El Colibri is a member of the Relais & Chateaux and is inspired by the early twentieth-century estancias or cattle ranches. Your stay is full-board so you can make the most of all the activities like horse riding, bird watching, polo lessons, trekking and more which are included. If you prefer, you can relax by the pool and rejuvenate yourself with a massage, treatment in the spa or yoga lesson.  

The estancia grows its own vegetables and you can choose lunch served in the vegetable garden from your choice of freshly picked vegetables and herbs, or why not opt for the picnic on the banks of the Santa Clarita River? Day 8: Cordoba to Mendoza

Today, you’ll be collected from your hotel in the morning and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to Mendoza – Argentina’s wine region. Day 9: Entre Cielos luxury wine hotel & spa

Day 10: Mendoza to El Calafate

This morning you’ll be collected and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to El Calafate to visit Argentina’s glaciers. Once you land, you will be met and driven to Eolo Patagonia Lodge where you will check in for a 3-night stay. You’ve arrived in the Glaciares region of Argentina, the home of majestic landscapes and nature at its most pristine.

Days 11 & 12: Eolo Patagonia       

Located halfway between El Calafate and Los Glaciares National Park and set amongst 10,000 acres, this setting begs to be explored, whether on horseback, by bike or on foot.
