Day 1: UK to Antigua

Depart the UK from your chosen airport. On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and driven to your hotel, checking in for 14 nights.

Included: International flights, 4* hotel on an all-inclusive basis

Days 2 - 14: Antigua

You have two weeks to relax and enjoy the spectacular island of Antigua. Enjoy delicious food at your hotel on an all-inclusive basis, including cocktails by the pool, themed dinners and delicious local seafood. Stroll along perfect beaches, snorkel with colourful fish in the turquoise water and watch the sunset over the curved bays.

During your stay, we’ve included a day tour to explore the best of Antigua. Take a seat in a 4x4 land rover, head out on a journey through the countryside. You’ll learn about the culture, history and natural beauty of the island from your knowledgeable guide. Visit Betty’s Hope, a restored sugar plantation with a windmill where you’ll tuck into a delicious lunch overlooking the scenic views. After eating, you’ll head down to Long Bay Beach, a pristine stretch of sand where you can play in the waves and relax on the beach, returning to your hotel by the late afternoon.

Included: Shared 4x4 day tour, All-inclusive basis, 4* hotel

Day 15: Fly to New York

After breakfast, you will be driven back to the airport in time for your flight to the USA. On arrival, you'll make your own way into the city and check into your hotel for three nights.

Included: All-inclusive, transfers, international flights

Days 16 & 17: New York

With a couple of days to explore this huge city, we’ve included the New York Pass which gives you entry to various sites. This includes the Empire State Building where you can enjoy views over the Hudson as well as the nearby Chrysler Building, the American Museum of Natural History, where dinosaurs come to life and a cruise around Manhattan, visiting Ellis and Liberty Island. Three days gives you plenty of time to hit the highlights of New York by day - spend your evenings searching for the perfect cocktail in the many rooftop bars of this glittering city.

Make sure you take a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to wander around the brownstones and try a slice of pizza at Grimaldi’s. In the spring, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens are bedecked with pink blossoms as the cherry trees bloom but really, it’s beautiful all year round – tulips in May and a dusting of snow in winter. Head to Tom’s for a pancake breakfast and wander through Prospect Park before catching the train down to Coney Island for an afternoon at the beach. Try a hot dog at Nathan’s, explore the funfair and ride the pink and green wonder wheel which has stood for nearly a hundred years.

Why not find a rooftop bar to enjoy sunset cocktails on your last night in the city?

Included: 4* hotel, New York Pass

Day 18: Depart New York City

Take one final wander through Manhattan, why not grab a bagel for breakfast and walk along the High Line? In the afternoon, you’ll make your way to the airport for your flight to Antigua.

Included: International flights, 4* hotel

Day 19: Arrive UK

Info

Antigua has a tropical climate in line with its neighbouring islands. While the temperature doesn’t vary much throughout the year, the humidity changes hugely between the seasons. December to April is the coolest and driest time, perfect if you’re looking for some winter sun. The hurricane season looms between June and November, with spells of intense rainfall and thunderstorms. There is still plenty of sunshine, but chances of rain are high. Hurricanes are most likely between August and October.
