This is a great way to spend 2 weeks in Argentina & Uruguay exploring two capital cities, tasting award-winning wines, marvelling at Iguazu Falls and relaxing on the beach.
Begin with an up-close tour of the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls; walk through the jungle and experience the thundering waters at the famous Devil’s Throat. From here, you’ll fly to Mendoza for sublime wine tasting and some the chance to bike or stroll through pretty vineyards and tree-lined streets. Then you’ll fly to Buenos Aires to explore the city’s different suburbs by guided tour.
Leaving Argentina behind, hop on a ferry over to Uruguay to explore the historic cobblestone streets of Colonia del Sacramento on route to Montevideo. Enjoy a unique city tour in a vintage car before we whisk you off to the upmarket beach resort Punta del Este for a few days of pure relaxation on the beach. A great way to combine cities, wine regions and beaches in one trip!
Depart the UK from your chosen airport.
On arrival at Iguazu airport, you will be met and taken to your hotel by shared transfer, where you will check in for a 2-night stay. We’ve chosen a hotel nestled in the jungle, around 20 minutes from the town of Puerto Iguazu. Why not relax by the pool surrounded by nature, then take the free shuttle into town for the evening?
This morning, you’ll be picked up and taken for a spectacular guided tour of the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Most of the cascades are on the Argentinian side, and you’ll be able to get quite close to them and see the famous ‘Devil’s Throat’ as you walk through the lush forest in the National Park, along the edge of the falls. The tour lasts around 5 hours so make sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring plenty of liquids to keep hydrated.
At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
You will be collected from your hotel today and taken to the airport by shared transfer for your flight to Mendoza. Once you land, you will be met and driven to your hotel in the Chacras de Coria valley, in Argentina’s wine region.
Chacras de Coria is a quaint neighbourhood full of older houses, tree-lined streets and pretty hotels. It’s a relaxed base for exploring the wine region, especially nearby Lujan de Cuyo – home of Argentina’s award-winning Malbec.
Today you have a full day to explore at your own pace and visit some wineries. It’s really easy to hire a bike here, and this is a great way to explore; riding between the vines and stopping off for tastings at some of the most prestigious wineries in Argentina.
You will be collected from your hotel today and taken to the airport by private transfer for your flight to Buenos Aires. Once you land, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel where you will check in for a 3-night stay.
We’ve included a morning tour of beautiful Buenos Aires today so you can get to know a little of this city. Your guide will show you the main neighbourhoods including the modern Puerto Madero, elegant Recoleta and colourful La Boca. At the end of the visit, you will be taken back to your hotel.

Today you’ll leave Buenos Aires and catch the ferry over to Uruguay! This morning, you’ll be collected and driven to the port for the 50-minute ferry over to the delightful city of Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay – a big change from the busy capital of Argentina.
Stoll through quaint, cobblestone streets and spend the rest of the morning and early afternoon exploring. Mid-afternoon, you’ll make your way to the bus station to take the bus to Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay. The journey is around two and a half hours, and when you arrive, you will be met and driven to your hotel where you will check in for a 2-night stay.
Today we’ve included a lovely tour of the city, by vintage car! Your local guide will help you discover the beauty and history of this enchanting metropolis and take you to see a few of its most famous landmark along the way. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
Leaving the city behind, this morning you’ll be collected from your hotel and driven by private transfer to your hotel in the beach resort of Punta del Este where you will check in for a 3-night stay. The journey takes about two and a half hours.
Punta del Este is one of the most glamorous resort towns in Latin America – perfect for a stylish beach break. We’ve chosen a hotel on Mansa Beach, with a lovely sandy beach and calm water that’s ideal for swimming. You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport by private transfer for your international flight back home.
