It could be that you are embarking on a full trip around China, or maybe you are just planning a stop over in Beijing, which ever it may be, our 4 day city package allows you to make the most of what this incredible city has to offer, including:

    • Forbidden City
    • Temple of Heaven
    • Great Wall of China

    Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

Upon arrival into Beijing you will be met by your guide and taken to your hotel by private transfer, where you will check into a standard room with breakfast for 3 nights.

After you have settled into your hotel, your guide will pick you up and take you on a tour of the famed Hutongs of Beijing where you can explore the ancient alleyways, and maybe even stumble across a Mahjong party, a social get-together where locals play Chinese Chess or a card game. You will then be taken back to your hotel.

Day 2: Full day of sightseeing

After breakfast you will be met by your guide and driver, and your day will begin by exploring the Temple of Heaven, where you will see people starting their day with Tai Chi, meditation, or practising Chinese calligraphy. You may even get to give it a go yourself!

Afterwards, you will head to the Forbidden City. Here you can explore the Palaces and gardens. You will also get the opportunity to visit Tiananmen Square and climb the artificial coal hill behind the Forbidden City, which provides spectacular views over Beijing.

On your journey back to your hotel, it would be the perfect chance to ask your guide for some restaurant recommendations, as you really can’t beat a local perspective when it comes to food!

Day 3: Full day at the Great Wall of China

After breakfast, you will be met by your guide and driver, and will travel to the Great Wall of China to witness one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, as well as a UNESCO world heritage site. Here you can take time to admire the rugged scenery and hike along the wall. You will be visiting the Mutianyu section of the wall and will be able to see the early morning sunrise and take some once in a lifetime photographs.

Placed on the highest ridges, the wall offers an excellent view to the north, and allowed the guards to watch out for alarm fires in case of barbarian intruders. The wall extends to more than 6000 kilometres, and during the Ming Dynasty, it was restored and expanded to its height, width, and length we see today.

After a morning of taking in the surrounding views, you will then have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic lunch on the wall, before hiking back down the wall. If the long walk down sounds a bit too strenuous, you can always ride the toboggan down!

    Day 4: Depart Beijing
