Day 1: Delhi
Transfer to Safdarjung railway station in Delhi for check in formalities commencing at 1630 Hrs.
The luxurious Royal Rajasthan on Wheels takes you through a seven day exploration of the vibrant Rajasthan.
The magic of this splendid journey begins in New Delhi and takes you through various erstwhile princely states.
You'll be welcomed on board in Delhi with ceremonial greetings at the Safdarjung station with traditional Aarti and Tika (a traditional welcome), garlanding and some refreshing drinks. After check in, you'll be escorted to your cabin.

Day 2: Jodhpur
After an overnight journey arrive in Jodhpur at approximately 0915 Hrs. Enjoy breakfast on board followed by a tour of Jodhpur.
Jodhpur, the second largest city of the state of Rajasthan, is famous for its magnificent Mehrangarh fort. Another example of Rajput glory is the Jaswant Thada built in 1899.

Day 3: Udaipur - Chittaurgarh
After an overnight journey arrive in Udaipur at approximately 0800 Hrs. Enjoy breakfast on board followed by tour of Udaipur city.
The 'Venice of the East is one of India's truly seductive cities, with palaces, gardens & temples at every turn. Visit the beautiful princely city palace.
Lunch at a hotel & in the afternoon followed by a trip to crystal gallery.
In the afternoon board the train and depart for Chittaurgarh at 1430 Hrs. Arrive in Chittaurgarh at approximately 1645 Hrs.
The fort of Chittorgarh is a treasure trove of history & offers the traveller an insight into the life of the great Rajput rulers. The victory tower or Vijay Stambh is one of the fort's main tourist attractions. Gaumukh Reservoir & the Palace of Queen Padmini are important sites to the south of the Rana Kumbha Palace. The light & sound programme is shown at the fort.
Dinner on board or at Hotel Panna with cultural programme followed by departure at 2200 Hrs
Day 4: Sawai Madhopur - Jaipur
After an overnight journey arrive at Sawai Madhopur at approximately 0530 Hrs. After early morning tea/coffee onboard the train proceed to Ranthambore National park for a jungle safari.
Located in the eastern part of Rajasthan, Sawai Madhopur's claim to fame today is the Ranthambore Fort & Ranthambore National Park. Visit the national park to catch a glimpse of the majestic tigers roaming around in the open wilderness & also pay a visit to the imposing fort. There is also a temple en route to the park by the name of Amareshwar Mahadeo temple which can be also be visited.
After the safari enjoy your breakfast at a hotel in Ranthambore or on board the train. Later depart for Jaipur at approximately 1100 Hrs. Lunch on board the train.
Arrive in Jaipur at 1315 Hrs.

Visit the city palace residence of the erstwhile maharaja of Jaipur which houses a museum of amazing centuries-old artefacts & an observatory built by the founder of jaipur maharaja Sawai jai Singh-ii.
Dinner at a hotel in Jaipur with cultural program. Later transfer to the station to board the train for an onward journey. Train will depart at approximately at 2215 Hrs.
Day 5: Khajuraho
After an overnight journey arrive at Khajuraho at approximately 1100 Hrs. Enjoy breakfast on board followed by a visit to the famous temples of Khajuraho.
Situated in Madhya Pradesh, India, Khajuraho is synonymous with passion, eroticism, dance & music, depicted in sculpture and other works of art.
Lunch at a hotel in the city & dinner on board the train. Departure 1830 Hrs for an overnight journey to Varanasi.
Day 6: Varanasi
After an overnight journey arrive at the holy city of Varanasi at approximately 0600 Hrs. Enjoy breakfast on board followed by a visit to various places of interest in the city of Varanasi.
Varanasi, more than 3,000 years old, is the oldest city of the world. It's famous as the city of temples - Jyotirlinga Vishvanath temple or golden temple, rebuilt in 1776, is dedicated to the lord Shiva.
The Ganga Ghats (river front) is the most popular pilgrimage spot in the holy city of Varanasi.
Lunch at a hotel & dinner on board.
Sightseeing include visit to Ghats, Maha Aarti, temples & Buddhist Temples at Sarnath.
Day 7: Agra
After an overnight journey arrive in Agra at approximately 0500 Hrs. After breakfast on board the train proceed on tour of Agra city.
Agra is one of India's most prominent destinations, with two heritage monuments: the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal & magnificent Agra Fort. It is a vibrant centre of culture, art & religious philosophies that have enriched mankind & shaped human thought over centuries.
Lunch at a hotel in the city & dinner on board the train.
Depart for Delhi at approximately 2300 Hrs.
Day 8: Delhi
Your wonderful journey on board the train comes to end after arriving into Delhi at 0400 Hrs. After breakfast onboard disembark the train (Check out time at 0745 Hrs)
