The Red Island Escape Surf Adventure programme takes you to uncrowded and remote surf locations, you will stay in the Mojosurf Camp on Red Island, surfing and meeting like-minded travellers. You will also get the chance to visit the Grajagan Peninsula; situated in the Alas Purwo National Park this spot (also known as G-Land) is becoming increasingly famous for its surf and is also a great place to watch the fisherman bringing in their catch.

This programme is suitable for all levels of surfers, from first timers wanting to learn the ropes to intermediate and experienced surfers who are looking for uncrowded waves, similar minded people and the relaxed surfing culture this area supplies!


Day 1: Pick-up by Mojo Surf

You will be collected this morning from the Kuta/Seminyak/Legian area early and be taken to Batu Bolong for 8am. After breakfast you will have your introduction to surfing, today is designed to assess your level of surfing and finding surf to suit your ability.

Tonight you will spend at the Mojosurf Camp in Canggu.

Day 2: Canngu to Red Island

It’s up early this morning for breakfast followed by your journey to Red Island (travel by flight or boat depending on availability & conditions). You arrive at Mojosurf Camp at Red Island (Java) mid-morning leaving you with the rest of the day to surf, chill and checking out your surroundings.

Day 3: Red Island

Surf, relax and enjoy a cold beer whilst enjoying the sunset.

Day 4: Red Island

Today you get the option to go on a day trip where you will get to visit the Grajagan Peninsula, a local village and Paradise Beach. You are also welcome to hang out at the camp and surf all day if you wish!

Day 5: Red Island

Surf, relax and enjoy a cold beer whilst enjoying the sunset.

Day 6: Return to Bali

After an early morning breakfast and surf it’s time to head back to Bali (transport can vary depending on availability and conditions). You arrive back in Bali at sunset, the perfect time to enjoy some beers with your new friends and celebrate your adventure.

Dry season is between the months of April and September, with most visitors going to Bali during July and August. You can still expect occasional rainfall during dry season but it is less humid. Wet season is usually between October and March, the rain normally comes down at night with the sun still shining at times during the day. The best time to visit Bali is May, June & September, this is just out of the busy period but is still dry season and as a result is not as humid with less chance of rain.

Extra nights at Mojo Surf Camp are bookable if you wish to extend your stay, $45 AUD per night
