Canggu and Batu Bolong beaches are home to the new ambient surf vibe set amongst the rice paddies and temples of this area. There is a selection of waves from nice easy rollers at Old Man’s surf break for the beginners, to some punchy close-to-shore peaks for the rippers. Stay at the Mojosurf Camp by night and surf the best spots in the day. You will immerse yourself into the surf culture, surfing all day, eating amazing food and spending the nights socialising around the traps at many of the funky night surf venues.
Dry season is between the months of April and September, with most visitors going to Bali during July and August. You can still expect occasional rainfall during dry season but it is less humid. Wet season is usually between October and March, the rain normally comes down at night with the sun still shining at times during the day. The best time to visit Bali is May, June & September, this is just out of the busy period but is still dry season and as a result is not as humid with less chance of rain.
