There are 16 chalets at Punga Cove, all tastefully furnished and nestled in the hillside. Each chalet has a private sun deck giving spectacular views across the Endeavour inlet. There are a variety of accommodation options at Punga Cove however, from the hostel (open in summer months) to the lodge, which has four bedrooms and the chalets which include studios, family chalets and stylish apartments.
Dining and leisure
At Punga Cove there are two dining venues, the Boatshed Café & Bar and the fine dining Punga Fern Restaurant. The historic Boatshed Café is set right on the water with outdoor seating and a large jetty. The Boatshed serves a large range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, from coffee served with homemade muffins, cakes, pies and paninis. There are also larger dishes of fish & chips, platters and pizzas, the Café is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The Punga Fern Restaurant offers a la carte dining, using Marlboroughs finest produce, wild game and seafood. There are also over 140 wines available to complement guests dining experience. Punga Fern is open daily for breakfast and dinner. There are many activities to enjoy in the area around Punga Cove, from day sailing, dolphin watching and mountain biking to playing volleyball and croquet. There is also a swimming pool and spa on site for guests use.
