Malawi
Known as the “Warm Heart of Africa”, Malawi is a country where lush highlands lie beside quiet wildlife reserves. Spot leopards and porcupines high on the Nyika Plateau before driving south to Majete National Park, where hippos and elephants laze in the gushing river waters. Kayak across the serene, turquoise waters of Lake Malawi, snorkel amidst colourful fish and relax on one the sandy shores. Wander through the lush tea hills of Thyolo, track herds of zebra and antelope through the grasslands of Liwonde National Park and look out for hornbills, palm-nut vultures and tinkerbirds in Nkhotakota.
