So, why come and work for Travel Nation? Well, if you enjoy being part of a friendly, hard-working team that spends its days creating once-in-a-lifetime trips all over the world, then you’ve come to the right place.
At Travel Nation, we create unforgettable trips for our customers. We offer first-hand destination advice, plenty of can-do suggestions, and a seamless booking process. We aim to make every journey feel like a trip of a lifetime.
Based in the heart of the Lanes in central Brighton, we’re a 10 minute walk from the train station and 2 minutes walk from the sea. Brighton is a magnetic destination with a flourishing arts scene plus plenty of live music and events.
Brighton is well-known for its food scene, from Abyssinian to Argentinean with all things vegetarian and vegan. We're also very close to several gyms, the famous Brighton beach, and we have more independent coffee houses than you could visit in a month.
Beyond your initial training, we offer lots of flexibility with shifts, holidays and where you work. With our hybrid homeworking policy, you’re in control of your own work/life balance.
We encourage our staff to travel as much as possible. Besides some great industry benefits, we also provide a £750 (pro rata) travel fund each year to each member of staff.
We specialise in round the world trips, which are varied by nature. If you get a kick out of planning complex flight itineraries and building once-in-a-lifetime trips, you’re in the right place.
We cover our team with private medical insurance every year, giving you access to eligible private health treatment when you need it. This covers specialist diagnosis, scans, outpatient care and full treatment for a wide range of conditions (including cancer). We also provide a cash plan for eye care, dentistry and various therapies.
We contribute to your workplace pension scheme, and beyond that, we’ve picked a fund that offers you maximum visibility and control of your investments. You can easily top up contributions or start new savings pots yourself, via an app. We also contribute more to your pension the longer you work for Travel Nation.
At Travel Nation, the planet means the world to us, so we offer tax-efficient schemes like ‘cycle to work’ and electric car salary sacrifice (lease). We're always on the lookout for ways to improve our sustainability, so we're also open to suggestions!
Currently, our office is open Monday to Friday. Our basic holiday allowance is 25 days a year (plus bank holidays), which increases with long service.
We work to realistic sales targets, but we also believe in offering our sales team the security of a high basic salary. You’ll have 6-monthly pay reviews alongside development coaching.
All our staff can enjoy the weekly benefits associated with our Brighton office. These include yoga sessions, HIIT classes, discounted gym memberships and drinks on our roof terrace!
Beginning with your induction training, you’ll have regular opportunities to brush up on destinations and suppliers to keep current. We even hold occasional themed training evenings like our South Pacific event, complete with Pacific meal and a prize draw for a Fiji fam trip.
As people who appreciate travel as much as you do, we understand that from time to time you may want to take an extended trip. Once you’ve completed two years’ service, we’re open to you taking an (unpaid) sabbatical period. And after ten years’ service, we offer a four week paid sabbatical.
Every year we offer worldwide educational tours as an opportunity to discover a new destination or refresh your product knowledge. In the past year, we've sent our team members on educational trips to Argentina, Australia, Borneo, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kenya, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, USA and more.
