We worked with Chris at Travel Nation to create a family trip to Costa Rica and the US. Chris was really great at suggesting itineraries and sharing his experience of travelling with a young family. He was responsive and patient with our changes. Chris did a great job of finding us good value multi stop flights.

I contacted Travel Nation originally about flights to Canada, then possibly continuing on Round the World.
Having received great service and prices on this from Adam Smith, I booked the flights.
I started exploring all the options from other well known global operators too for hotels and land/sea elements. I quickly came to the conclusion that I should entrust the vast majority of the organisation of an 8 week trip to Adam and Travel Nation.
Apart from receiving great advice, personal service and a wonderful looking itinerary, the pricing has been very competitive and flexible, allowing me to chop and change elements according to what I wanted to do/my budget.
So, within a few weeks a multi continent trip (Canada, Australia, Fiji, Philippines, Thailand) has been organised and paid for !

Travel Nation took us around the world from Japan, through Fiji to New Zealand and then to San Fransisco. They customised the whole trip to our needs, listening carefully to what we wanted and didn't want and then delivered - perfectly. Their choice of hotels and accommodation was particularly good, we were often blown away by the location and the quality, they certainly knew places that we would never have discovered. Our agent Kelly was a wonder, always there, always on top of things. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

Booking our round-of-the-world ticket with Audric was incredibly easy. We were struggling with the two round-of-the world web site until we contacted Travel Nation. The communications with Audric were very friendly. He tried his best to accommodate our needs and available to change the dates once we started our trip. He was able to identify a very convenient routing with the least stop over durations, taking into account the restrictions that airlines companies apply to this type of ticket.
Travel Nation obtains a discount with an international insurance Chapka. On the basis of our experience, it is not easy to get reimbursed.

Very helpful advice offered. Outline of proposed trip provided, so we were able to review and amend before final confirmation. Good to know there was support at the end of the telephone, if we had needed it, but everything ran smoothly.

Travel Nation organised our trip covering 75 days, 6 countries, 16 flights, 33 hotels, 4 day trips, 3 hire cars and a ferry and we can’t believe how incredibly smoothly the whole thing went.
It was tailored perfectly to suit our needs. Hotels were excellent with some incredible locations.
Olly, our agent, listened to everything we were looking for in the build up whilst creating the trip and stayed in touch throughout to answer any queries.
Amazing memories created and we can’t begin to thank Olly enough for helping us go on the trip of a lifetime!
Will definitely use Travel Nation again and are happy to recommend them to everyone.

Claire - I just wanted to appreciate all your support during our 6 month RTW trip - it has now come to an end (unfortunately!!). After organising our RTW flights, you were always on top of any flight changes or any questions we had along the way. During such a long trip, you have a lot to plan and to think about so it’s important to be able to manage our flight platform and know that everything is on track. Thank you!!

I contacted Travel Nation to help me tailor a 6 week solo trip to South America (Peru Bolivia, Chile, Easter Island, Buenos Aires and Antarctica. My Travel consultant Grainne was amazing and helped build the perfect package including flights which there were many during my 6 week period. The whole trip from start to finish was amazing! I had the best time!

We highly recommend Travel Nation to advise, make all travel arrangements, sight seeing tours, flights, hotels for your tailor made holiday.
We booked a holiday of a lifetime to South Africa, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Moorea and San Francisco and returned early February. All plans before and during our trip were very thorough. Our consultant was great with suggestions and listened to what we wanted. Olly at Travel Nation organised the most amazing trip of a lifetime for us to Australia and New Zealand. He took care of everything including flights, car hire, ferry crossing, rail tickets and all the accommodation. In the travel pack he had included suggestions of must see places in each location and recommendations of restaurants and other points of interest all whilst keeping within our budget. The accommodation he selected for us was spot on, location for each hotel was excellent. He really listened to our brief and tailor made our trip to that, highly recommend Olly and Travel Nation and in fact we have already asked Olly to tailor make another trip for us to the States.

Our agent Olly Minnis was excellent from start to finish in our trip to Costa Rica. He had great suggestions for us and patiently reworked itineraries with our ideas until it was just right. We had several calls back and forth to finalise plans and even giving us excellent first hand advice and tips having got back from a trip there himself. Very responsive on the run up and even while we were on the trip for any queries we had to ask. I wouldn't change a thing about our trip, it was perfect, and much of that was thanks to Olly's hard work. Highly recommend, thanks!

I contacted Travel Nation in June 2023 when we were planning a 4 month trip, departing in September, to Australia and New Zealand and spoke to Scott. I gave him a broad outline of where we wanted to go and for how long. He came up with an initial itinerary which we discussed and he then tailored it to something which was perfect for our requirements. Scott organized a round-the-world trip, suggesting stays in Singapore and Fiji before completing the round the world aspect by staying in Honolulu for our final 3 nights. We had a fantastic time, "Thank You" Scott and Travel Nation, your expertise and knowledge made our lives much easier without the headache of having to co-ordinate flights.

We booked a round the world ticket with Travel Nation, and were satisfied with the service. I think it was definitely worth it price-wise to go through them, rather than book independently. The staff was very available, reactive and friendly.

On the down side, it is less convenient in terms of flexibility. Any change in tickets is quite pricey, as the fee to change is pretty high and you pay the difference in the ticket price on top of that.

The reason I am giving 3 stars is that we were disappointed in terms of advice given when planning the trip and our destinations. We ended up changing the order of the countries to visit in South America after realising it made much more sense season/weather wise, which ended up adding quite a bit to the total price. We would have appreciated advice on that when booking, to avoid the additional costs.

Tracey made a round the world flight ticket seamless from start to finish. She listened to the itinerary and budget and aced both. She is patient and knowledgeable. Two days before our first flight it was cancelled due to ground staff striking with Lufthansa but within the hour she had us rebooked a day earlier. Absolutely awesome. Thoroughly recommend her and Travel Nation
