Day 1: Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro where you will be transferred to hotel Rio de Janeiro. If arriving in the morning, take a cable car ride up to the Sugar Loaf hill for great views of Rio in the afternoon.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro (B,D)
This morning take a private tour up the Corcovado peak where the iconic statue of Christ, the Redeemer is located. Stand at the feet of the giant statue and marvel at its size while enjoying the views across the city and beaches of Rio. You will be back at your hotel by early afternoon. Take a rest before heading out on an exciting Rio by night tour including dinner and show.

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro (B)
Venture into the Tijuca Forest on a Jeep tour today - Tijuca Forest, known as the world’s largest urban forest with its paths, waterfalls and greenery, Tijuca forest is a mix of history and nature. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon relaxing at your hotel or doing some souvenir shopping.

Day 4: Rio de Janeiro - Manaus (B)
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport in time for your flight to Manaus - Capital of Amazonas state. Take an afternoon City tour of Manaus, including the Indian Museum and the famous Teatro Amazonas (Opera House).

Day 5: Manaus (B,L,D)
Begin your 2 night Jungle stay today with a transfer to the Amazon Eco Park Jungle Lodge. You will leave Manaus by boat and stop for a meeting of the waters tour before travelling to the lodge where you will enjoy a typical lunch.

Day 6: Manaus (B,L,D)
This morning we follow a trail through the rainforest around the lodge, our guide will point out flora and fauna on the way. After lunch we will take a trip to a Cabloco village and meet the people of the Amazon. In the evening we have the chance to spot Caimans on a night time boat ride, watching for their eyes shining out from the banks of the mighty Amazon river.

Day 7: Manaus/ Salvador (B)
After a morning visit to Monkey Jungle where we will have the chance to visit the friendliest of Jungle animals up close, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Salvador. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a well deserved rest.

Day 8: Salvador (B,L)
Explore the city on a half day historical City tour this morning. Free time in the afternoon until you are picked up from your hotel for a Bahia by Night tour starting with a show by the Bahia Folklore Company at the Miguel de Santana Theatre. After the show diner will be served in one of the many traditional restaurants in the area.

Day 9: Salvador (B,L)
This morning board a schooner to cruise to some of the 36 islands in the bay on a full day tour. Stop with time to relax in the sun or swim in the warm waters. Re-board for the short crossing to the larger Itaparica Island for lunch. More Relaxing time on the beach or an optional visit to the colonial town of Itaparica before returning to Salvador.

Day 10: Salvador - Ouro Preto (B)
You will fly to Belo Horizonte in the morning where you will be met at the airport to continue on with private transport to the city of Ouro Preto. Ouro Preto is the masterpiece of colonial architecture in Brazil with fountains, churches, ruins and towers shining with colored tiles.

Day 11: Ouro Preto (B,L)
Enjoy a walking tour of Ouro Preto this morning which finishes with a delicious traditional lunch.

Day 12: Ouro Preto - Iguassu Falls (B)
Morning transfer back to Belo Horizonte Airport for flight to Iguassu Falls. Upon arrival in Iguassu, your transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Day 13: Iguassu Falls (B)
Morning walking tour of the Brazilian side of the Falls. In the afternoon we take a Safari boat tour to spot birds, wild animals and see the exotic vegetation. At the end we will get as close as possible to the thundering wall of water.

Day 14: Iguassu Falls - Sao Paulo or Rio (B)
Morning tour of the Argentinean side of the falls. Visitors cross the border for a walking tour of the falls. Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Sao Paulo or Rio to connect for your international flight back home.
