Seasons in Australia are the opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere.

Summer : December–February
Autumn : March–May
Winter : June–August
Spring : September–November

During Nov–Mar parts of the Northern Territory and Tropical North
Queensland have their wet season, but it doesn't rain all the time. Rain tends to comes in short heavy bursts, followed by sunny periods.
