Auckland's climate is never scorching hot, and the heat is mellowed
by a sea breeze. Winters are generally mild but rainy. The average daytime
temperature in Summer is 26C/80F and the average Winter temperature
is 15C/60F.
New Zealand has a temperate climate where the northern part of the country
is noticeably warmer than the southern part. There are four seasons:
Summer (December to February), Autumn (March to May), Winter (June to
August) and Spring (September to November).
UK citizens do not require a visa for travel to New Zealand for stays
of up to 3 months. Longer stays do require a visa applied for from the
embassy in the UK. You must have a passport valid for at least 6 months
after your departure date from the destination.
