Short Antarctica Tours
If you're pushed for time, it's possible to fly via from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, board your 10 day Antarctic Classic Voyage the following day, and make it home again, within your 2 week holiday allocation. However, if you can spare the time, but don't want to spend and extended time at sea, why not combine your Antarctic adventure with a few days, weeks or months spent exploring South American?
South America and Antarctica Tour
Before your Antarctic tour departs, why not spend some time in Buenos Aires? Argentina's fine capital city could make a colourful impression at the start of your trip. Why not take in a city tour and a Tango Show to kick things off?
El Calafete
If you're interested in seeing inland glaciers – take a trip to 'El Calafate' which is the Argentinean gateway to the renowned Moreno Glacier. The Torres Del Paine and El Chalten National parks provide fantastic opportunities for hiking, with magnificent Alpine views.
Iguassu Falls and on to Rio de Janeiro
Another spectacular destination you could consider adding on to your trip before or after your Antarctic travel is Iguassu Falls – guaranteed never to disappoint. As the falls are located on the western border of Brazil, you could choose to cross the border and fly home via Rio. A few days at the beach and a visit to a Samba club is a perfect way to get your land legs back!
